Varun Jain

Varun Jain is an Applied Scientist at Microsoft with the IC3 Media Intelligence group where he works on improving video-related AI features in Teams & Skype products. He has designed, trained, and shipped models for person segmentation, person detection and tracking. He is currently working on video relighting and enhancement. Prior to joining Microsoft, Varun was a graduate student at the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon and a visiting researcher at Meta Reality Labs, Pittsburgh.
