What is an epithet?
If you’ve ever visited the Big Apple or heard the Good Word, you’ve encountered epithets. See epithet examples and their types.

Before you start churning away, step back and thoroughly evaluate the product or service. Outline key points based on your experience to identify what’s worth including in your review. For example, if you’re reviewing skincare products, like a facial moisturizer, think about the quality, value, and results. Ask yourself questions like these to guide your writing:
You can also turn to AI to pose questions about your product services. Jot down the answers to all these questions, and if you wish, request AI to transform your notes into a coherent review. Of course, don’t forget to clearly state the product or service name and other important details. If you have any, include pictures, too.

Learn moreLet’s be honest: Many people skim over reviews and want to get to the point. That’s why you should strive to make your reviews user-friendly by listing the pros and cons of the product or service. Clear, concise bullet point lists make it easy for readers to get information without sifting through lengthy paragraphs. Have AI reorganize your reviews to make them more accessible with a prompt like, “Reorganize the pros and cons in my review to showcase them to the reviewer explicitly.”
Look over the voice. Is it overly pessimistic or, oppositely, too gushy without being objective? Strike a balance between constructive criticism and genuine praise—this will make your review feel honest and informative. Get a secondary opinion from AI by asking it to evaluate the voice of your review and how to tweak it with a prompt like, “Examine the tone of my review. Is it constructive or unnecessarily negative? How can I revise to make it more balanced and constructive?”
To keep things private, hide your name with an alias and leave out any unnecessary personal details, like references to your daily routines or workplace. For example, if there is a restaurant by your house you frequent often, don’t say that. Instead, provide general information about your experience without pinpointing your locations or habits—especially if you have other public reviews. Seek out AI’s insight, too, for guidance on how to make your reviews less personal.
A review with glaring grammatical errors is less likely to be taken seriously by other readers. Input your finished review into your generative AI chat and ask it to scan for grammatical mistakes. Use a simple prompt like, “Can you check my review for grammar and readability?” Or use AI-powered Editor to clean up your work and make it its best.
