Jing Liu a senior researcher at Microsoft Research Asia. She earned her Ph.D. in the computer sciences department, University of Wisconsin–Madison, under the guidance of Prof. Andrea Arpaci-Dusseau (opens in new tab) and Prof. Remzi Arpaci-Dusseau (opens in new tab). Jing was a recipient of a Meta Ph.D. Research Fellowship.

Jing’s research interests include operating systems and file and storage systems. She works on building better systems, such as improving performance, reliability, and usability. Recently, she has been exploring ways to support LLM applications and systems.
