I am the Technical Program Manager of Microsoft Research Asia, Shanghai. Together with our partners, we build agentic systems around LLMs to address real-world domain challenges and distill our insights into impactful research.

We adopt two main methodologies: One approach is viewing agentic systems as data processing workflows and systematically reducing workloads at each step. We aim to enhance the intelligent outputs per unit of computing power, thereby increasing the system’s intelligence “density”. The other method involves integrating general-purpose technologies with domain-specific rationales to deliver tailored solutions for industry challenges. Our programs span various domains, including healthcare, logistics, and accessibility.

Before joining Microsoft, I served as a Product Manager at VoxelCloud, where I led the development of two AI-driven ophthalmic disease screening systems. Earlier in my career, I worked as a Technical Analyst at Synced Review.

Regarding my educational background, I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Finance from Tsinghua University, a Master of Science degree in Accounting from Tsinghua University, and a Master of Science degree in Operations Research from Columbia University in the City of New York.
