Ogbemi Ekwejunor-Etchie is a Research Incubations Director and a Principal Technical Program Manager at Microsoft Research. In this role, he collaborates with researchers, academia, engineers, and industry stakeholders to accelerate research into high ambition, human-centric outcomes across the intersections of science, technology, business, and society.

Before joining Microsoft Research, Ogbemi held product and engineering roles at Moderna, Microsoft, and Corning Inc. At Moderna, he led product for Commercial Data and Moderna Direct, driving to the vision for personalized therapeutics. At Microsoft, his contributions and shipped features spanned multiple teams, including Power BI Premium, Fabric, and Mixed Reality at Work teams. At Corning Inc, he collaborated closely with researchers and scientists to scale materials research to high-volume production both domestically and internationally as an expat.

Ogbemi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Cornell University. He also holds three patents in the material science space.
